Dusk is a time to reflect, and gather at high places. As night settles over the landscape, the lilting sound of steel drums dances among the rose bushes.
There are no seasons in the Bay Area, except for the dry season and the wet season. Excepting this fact, it seems that autumn leaves came to visit our local Safeway this November. Who knows, maybe there will even be snow??
The weather is still charmingly warm and sunny in November. On this bright Thanksgiving day, the streets are clear and the sun is shining. For some reason, it seems that every child has a scooter.
Indian Rock, on November 26. These two were heading for home, it seems, but tried to catch one last glimpse of the fiery sunset as they departed.
On most nights, a motley crowd gathers on the bare crags of Indian Rock to watch the sun pass the horizon, and the shadow of the earth cross the sky. Here was the display on November 26, 2014.
